Festival of Lights and Christmas on the Square
Levelland Main Street, the Marigolds of Levelland, and South Plains College (SPC) partner annually to bring you the Levelland Festival of Lights & Christmas on the Square. The evening begins on the West facing lawn of the Levelland Campus, as Dr. Satterwhite, President of SPC and Miss Caprock, join forces to bring the campus to life with Christmas Lights galore! Then grab a spot to watch a lighted Christmas parade winds its way through campus, turns north on College and heads down College to Houston Street with Santa in the lead. Stop by the gazebo and get your free ticket from The Levelland Marigolds to see Santa! When your ticket color lights up, it's your turn to get in line. Meanwhile, enjoy the LISD choirs as they put us all in a festive holiday mood, food trucks, hot cocoa, student activity booths, a soft fun kooshy snowball fight, a performance by The Grinch, give aways, food options, bounce houses and lots of games. (Every float is also allowed to setup a vendor booth if they choose to!) It's the perfect way to celebrate a West Texas Christmas...a full heart, a hometown Levelland Christmas and it's all coming December 1st.
